Standard Padel Court Dimensions

A regulation padel court measures 20 meters long by 10 meters wide (approximately 65.6 feet by 32.8 feet). This is roughly one-third the size of a tennis court.

The Net

The net stands 88 centimeters high at the center, rising to 92 centimeters at the posts. This is slightly lower than a tennis net.

Service Lines and Boxes

Each half of the court has a service line located 6.95 meters from the net. The center service line divides each service area into two equal boxes.

The Walls

The back wall is 4 meters high and can be made of glass, concrete, or a combination. The side walls are 4 meters high for the first 2 meters from the back wall, then step down to 3 meters.

Glass vs. Concrete Walls

Professional courts use tempered glass for better visibility and consistent ball bounce. Concrete walls are cheaper but create faster, less predictable rebounds.

The Playing Surface

Most padel courts use artificial grass with sand infill for good grip and joint protection.

Building Considerations

Expect costs between $40,000 and $120,000 depending on materials, surface type, lighting, and whether it's indoor or outdoor. Four courts is the sweet spot for a viable business.
