Padel Scoring Is Just Like Tennis

The system is identical: Love (0), 15, 30, 40, game.

Points Within a Game

Each game starts at Love-Love. Points progress: Love, 15, 30, 40, Game. The serving team's score is always called first.

Deuce and Advantage

At 40-40 (deuce), a team must win two consecutive points. Many formats use a golden point at deuce instead.

Games Within a Set

First team to win 6 games wins the set with a 2-game lead. At 6-6, a tiebreak is played.

Tiebreak

First to 7 points with a 2-point lead wins the tiebreak and set.

Winning the Match

Most matches are best of 3 sets.

Serving Rules

The serve must be underhand, hit at or below waist level, bounced first, then struck into the diagonally opposite service box.
